Deerfield, NH - Josh shows his car at The Deerfield Community School. A huge pleasure and honor for Josh to show his car off to all of his friends, teachers, and peers. Josh signed hundreds of autographs, told many race stories, and answered a lot of questions teaching children about what it takes and what goes into racing in general. There was a lot of excitement each and everytime he fired his motor, children where jumping up and down, and even hanging out of windows during finals!! Many memories where shared about his long-time desire for racing. Past teachers actually got to see what he has been daydreaming about all these years. He had a special moment with his kindergarden teacher Mrs. Knee. Mrs. Knee remembered Josh at waist high, coming into his first year of school in an autographed Jeff Gordan jacket. It was special to him to have his photo taken in front of his car with his first ever teacher at DCS. (see 2010 photos) Mrs. Schmidtchen and Mrs. Dubiansky reminessed about his "share" in 4th grade when he brought his Tiger Sprint go-kart to school, "this is a long way from go-karts in 4th grade", they said. One of the favorite moments, unfortunately not captured in a photo, had to be watching the school principal, Mr. Yergeau and Vice Principal Ms. Klipa help push the car onto the trailer!! Thank You so much to them for allowing Josh this special day, it will not be forgotten. It was an honor and privelage for him, and he hopes everyone had as much fun as he did. He is certainly going to miss his days at DCS, as he moves onto High School. Congradulations to Josh as he graduates!!!!
